LARGEST JURY VERDICT AWARDED IN DELAWARE COUNTY

After a more than two week long jury trial, a Delaware County jury returned a verdict of more than $40 million for a child claimed to be injured by obstetrical malpractice. The child was represented at the more than two week long trial by Tim Lawn and Stephen Raynes. The defense denied that their care was improper in any respect, or even the cause of the child’s injuries. Attorney Stephen Raynes noted that “the jury was exceptionally devoted to finding the truth in this case, and Tim’s brilliant courtroom advocacy convincingly proved that truth”. The verdict is believed to be the largest personal injury verdict ever awarded in Delaware County, PA.
