New Firm Name
In March 2018, Raynes McCarty proudly changed its name to Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer. We want to honor our next generation of trial attorneys who embody our values and our fifty year commitment to the highest level of representation of our clients.
Although under a new name, our personal injury firm continues to be recognized not only for securing outstanding results, but also for its commitment to each client. The firm prides itself on representing people, not “handling cases.” While the attorneys of Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer have secured billions of dollars in recoveries for our clients, we have done so while shunning headlines for the firm in order to protect the dignity and confidentiality of our clients.
Ten of our attorneys have been selected as 2018 Super Lawyers. Four have been recognized as among the Top 100 attorneys for our entire state; another among the Top 50 women lawyers statewide, and one acknowledged as a Rising Star. Best Lawyers in America has repeatedly named Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer as a Tier One Firm in the areas of product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, and employment law. In 2018, Best Lawyers honored seven of our attorneys, with one being named as Philadelphia Lawyer of the Year for Plaintiff’s Personal Injury. This was the fourth time that one of our Lawyers has been recognized as Lawyer of the Year in their field of practice.
In 2017, Stephen Raynes joined Tim Lawn, Chuck Hehmeyer, Roy DeCaro and Bernie Smalley in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Several of the firm’s attorneys have been admitted also to The International Academy of Trial Lawyers and The American Board of Trial Advocates.
At Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer, the talent is pooled together so that each client has a team of exceptional trial lawyers working on his or her behalf. “We know that the client is best served by putting together a specific team of lawyers based upon strengths and specialties needed to secure the best possible result for each client,” said Stephen Raynes, one of the firm’s leaders.
An Important Part of The Larger Community
Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer is proud of its commitment to public service. In addition to significant charitable contributions, the firm’s lawyers spend countless hours serving the community in Philadelphia and beyond. Whether it is advocating in Harrisburg and Washington D.C. to protect the rights of the injured and handicapped, or serving on boards of local non-profit service organizations, Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer lawyers have always been there, and will continue to be.
